Nutritional yeast is bad for you. Get B vitamins from a whole food source!

I have never had a good reaction when I used to be raw vegan and would eat nutritional yeast because I was so in need of B vitamins.

I would always put way too much on as I thought it’s healthy, it can’t be bad..

Well my face and neck would turn bright red and I would feel light headed.  Anyone ever have a reaction to nutritional yeast?

See people that are raw vegan or just vegan are in search of B vitamins and its usually the one supplement they HAVE to take!

But nutritional yeast in not the answer..

I know this comes as bad news for all vegetarians and vegans who put it on popcorn, in green drinks, on veggies, and make fake cheese with it..

Why would you ever make “fake” food?

Studies have been done that Nutritional Yeast is a neurotoxin, a gmo product, a disguised MSG, added synthetic vitamins, and flavor enhancers.

The most disturbing thing I’ve researched is that it contains Free Glutamate Acid which is the same neurotoxin compound as monosodium glutamate (MSG).  They disguise the true identity of MSG with fancy names.

In Dr. Baylock’s best selling book, Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills, he discovered that the cause of certain brain lesions is linked  to food additives which come in the form of processed “free” Glutamic Acid.  He says Free Glutamic Acid literally stimulates the neurons to death, causing brain damage.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to eat MSG!!

The Body Ecology Diet site states that Nutritional Yeast, bakers yeast, and brewers yeast are not well tolerated and can contribute to the over growth of yeast infections and candida in the body.

Where can I find vitamin B in whole foods?

We get one of most important nutrients B12 from animal foods..sorry vegans..

LIVER is loaded with b vitamins and especially high in vitamin B6 which is great for fertility.  There are some great liver recipes in Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon.

RAW EGG YOLK- Put raw eggs in your smoothies.

Raw or rare grass fed meat.

Spirulina.
